Subject: Termination of lists
To the Board+:
You will recall that we have agreed to terminate all lists and message boards .......... (I deleted rest of sentence. RMB)
Motion: To eliminate Talk, Talkmo, Activist e-mail lists and the public Message Boards. We will retain the Members Only message boards and the Board only message boards, including a general amnesty for currently banned members, effective January 1, 2003.
I am writing to remind all of us of this motion and requesting that Chuck [Perricone] work out the precise procedure for notifying the membership of the terminations of the lists, and to recommend dates for each step of action. Time is short.

Body of New Message.......
Since, I have a very serious family matter in progress, my father in law has been given 2 days, possibly less to live, and I will be basically living at the hospital with my wife and her family, I will not have time to remove the lists on Jan 1st, I will most likely be at a funeral.
So, I am removing the lists, effectively 10 minutes after I send out this message.
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the lists and to MCRGO. I don't like it any more than any of you will. But, I am not a board member, nor a member who has any voice in the internal workings of MCRGO.
I will not be renewing my membership with MCRGO in 2003. I am not asking you to follow suit.
God Bless, and Merry Christmas to the many friends I have met and communicated with over the past few years. Please keep in touch.

List Administrator (ex)TALKMO is a members-only e-mail list for the purpose of allowing the members to communicate with the Board and Activists, as well as among themselves. Allowable topics will include internal MCRGO issues. The list will require the member's full name, member number and a phone number.
